My Modern Day Hero

Modern HEROES are not like SUPERMAN, BATMAN, SPIDER-MAN or even IRON-MAN. A real hero for me is the one who could gave his/her life for the sake of others. My hero, actually she is not a hero, she's a Heroine.

Heroes really come to our us during the saddest part of it or during when we are in the most hopeless part of it. When I encountered the most difficult problems in my life, she then showed up and lighten all of my burdens. She's always there to guide me and who gives me the warmest love of all. But some heroines will just pass through my life. :3

I don't know if she will be going back again to rescue me but still I WILL ALWAYS LOVE HER FOREVER!

The Filipino Month Celebration

"Wika natin ay tuwid na daan"

This is the month of august. The yearly Celebration of the "Buwan ng Wika".The month which we celebrate our native language through school activities and other forms of reviving the Filipino dialect`s atmosphere. Many of the students asked if "Why should we do this year after year celebration?". Simply because many of us forgot to use it or they are not aware of  what they are talking when they speak in our own language. This month always reminds us to look back from where we come from.

"Wika natin ay tuwid na daan" is the theme for this year`s Filipino month Celebration.This message may lead us to the betterment of our country and of course ourselves. As a student, I am proud to be a Filipino and also to be a man who can truly understand the value of the Filipino language. Only by this, I can show my love, care, and loyalty to our own country.

Be Loyal, Love, Care and Lead all of the other people to know the real importance of the Filipino Language we are into. Be a role model to every one. WE ARE FILIPINO WE MUST BE PROUD OF IT. :)

My Reflection

during the 1st Grading Period

         1st Grading period is such the most exciting, thrilling and also the happiest one, even though it is the only grading we have done..

         On this quarter of our school year, I am so excited because of the new friends, teachers, classmates, and other barkadas. As the first day of school comes, I am thinking that i`ll be one of loner inside the class. But suddenly, I`m wrong. Actually I am encountering new classmates this year because i came from the other class section. The first grading period seems so easy for me then because, i`ll already took those lessons we are taking during my third year of high school. But even if I know the topics we are studying, there`s always a threat on my study, my hobby, playing computer games. This may cause my grades to become lower again this grading. However, even this addiction that I have encountered, i think that i do much better grades because of the results of the examination we had and i passed. But the one thing is, even though i got high grades in examinations, i don`t recite much in our class discussion knowing that i already know the lessons we are taking up.

        But the start of the Second Grading period will be the start of the new strategies in my class. Making my grade better and more active in our class discussions.

State of the Nation Address 2013

President Benigno "NoyNoy" Aquino

        The Annual address of the President of the Republic of the Philippines held every fourth Monday of the Middle month of the year.

        The SONA (State Of the Nation Address) was stated by Mr. President last July 22,2013. The SONA was entitled "Sa gitna ng daang matuwid". The SONA was held in the Session hall of the Batasang Pambansa Complex, Commonwealth, Quezon City. This is to inform every single Filipino the changes and improvements we are encountering in our country during his term of being president of our nation.

       According to his SONA, if we are helping each other to make our country better, it will be easily for him to improve nation. For it, we can achieved the fast progression of our country. This is what he say during his SONA. We can reach the top if we are there helping everyone.In Addition he said that "No one else can save a Filipino but both Filipino are the one that helping each other when time comes.

        This is the 4th SONA of the 15th President of the Philippines. Two more years and he will be change from where he is now.This event really amazed me for what he had done to our country. I am saluting and supporting you with all my heart and soul Mr. President for all these things we are encountering now in our nation.

Honorable President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino,

               A pleasant Day Sir!

               I am Louis Rence Guillian Palacpac, a student of Ilocos Sur National High School in Vigan City, writes this letter to express my concern and feelings to the Students who are included in cases of bullying. According to what I read, the most common victims of these cases are students in the high school level, especially the 8th graders.

               Most of the Victims remain silence because of the lacking of money so they can appeal to the court and file a case. In addition, students with the lower years are afraid to report them to the school officials because they are thinking of the revenge of the students who abused them.Some students who are from this cases are now suffering traumas, and this might cause students not to socialize with other people again.

               As the leader of the Republic of the Philippines, I am seeking for help and support for the victims of the said case. In addition, I am hoping for plans that you, Sir, can introduce to us to decrease the incidents for bullying.

               I know the hardship that you are making today in our country Sir. But, still we need you to reach this goals.We know the sacrifices you are making to make our country better. Thank you Sir for your help and Support.
